Working closely with our production and maintenance teams, you will help minimise downtime, resolve breakdowns and identify practical opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.Our business is built on integrity, operational excellence and a commitment to quality, safety and environmental responsibility.Electrician - ManufacturingAbout the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and production equipment across the site.Your focus will be on maximising equipment reliability and availability while ensuring safety, quality and production requirements are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance across production equipment and site infrastructureDiagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise production downtimeTroubleshoot PLCs, VSDs, sensors, motors, conveyors and automated production equipmentCarry out PLC modifications and upgrades where requiredRespond promptly and safely to production breakdownsMaintain electrical systems across machinery,



buildings and site infrastructureWork closely with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issuesEnsure all electrical work complies with relevant standards, OH&S; requirements and company policiesMonitor electrical spare parts and support procurement requirementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, efficiency and waste reductionMaintain accurate maintenance records and provide recommendations for equipment and process improvementsAbout YouYou are a qualified A Grade Electrician who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.You bring strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills and are confident working with PLC systems, VSDs and automated production equipment.
You have a sound understanding of industrial electrical systems, with exposure to mechanical and pneumatic systems also highly regarded.You are proactive, reliable and comfortable responding to breakdowns, while recognising the importance of preventative maintenance and long‐term equipment reliability.Just as importantly, you are a strong communicator and team player who works collaboratively with production, maintenance and other areas of the business.
You have a genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement and look for practical ways to improve equipment performance and minimise downtime.To Be Successful,



You Will HaveCurrent A Grade Electrical LicenceStrong electrical fault‐finding and diagnostic skillsExperience with PLC systems, including troubleshooting and modificationsExperience with VSDs and automated production equipmentExperience maintaining motors, sensors and industrial machinerySound understanding of electrical safety and workplace health and safety requirementsStrong communication and teamwork skillsA proactive and practical approach to problem solvingExperience in the following areas will be highly regarded:Manufacturing or high‐volume production environmentsQuality management systems and HACCP environmentsFood manufacturing, packaging or similar manufacturing operationsMechanical and pneumatic systemsWhy Join Confoil?
