We're looking for a friendly and reliableBus Driverto help our residents stay connected to their community, attend appointments, enjoy social outings and maintain their independence.
Located across 60 acres of beautiful gardens, lakes, and rainforest surrounds, Buderim Gardens is a vibrant retirement community where residents enjoy an active, social lifestyle.
You'll play an important role in helping make that possible.
The Opportunity
Part-Time | 22.5 Hours per Week
Shift Pattern
Monday: 5:30am - 1:30pm
Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Vehicle:22-seat bus (LR Licence Required)
What You'll Do
Safely transport residents to appointments, shopping trips and community outings
Assist residents with boarding, mobility aids and personal belongings as needed
Deliver a warm, professional and customer-focused experience
Coordinate vehicle servicing and scheduled inspections
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the bus
Support village operations with occasional general duties
Champion safety and resident wellbeing at all times
About You
You're a people person who enjoys helping others and takes pride in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for passengers.
You'll bring:




CurrentLight Rigid (LR) Driver Licence
Previous bus driving experience
A genuine interest in supporting older Australians
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Calm decision-making and a safety-first mindset
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A positive, proactive and dependable approach
