The OpportunityCanberraTroocoo is partnering with a large Federal Government organisation to recruit a Training Specialist for an initial contract commencing October **** through to 30 June ****, with potential extension options.Based in Canberra, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced learning and development professionals who enjoy facilitating engaging training, working with subject matter experts and translating complex information into practical, easy-to-understand learning experiences.You will support a significant reform program involving changes to legislation, business processes and ICT systems, helping internal staff and stakeholders understand and confidently adopt new ways of working.The RoleDeliver instructor-led training, workshops, briefings and information sessionsFacilitate both face-to-face and virtual trainingTranslate complex policy, regulatory, operational and system changes into clear learning experiencesCoordinate training schedules,



participant communications and supporting logisticsDevelop clear and accessible training materials and learning contentAssess learner understanding and adapt your facilitation approach where requiredGather and analyse participant feedback to continuously improve training outcomesBuild solid relationships with internal and external stakeholdersReport on participation, engagement, feedback and capability outcomes.About YouDemonstrated experience delivering instructor-led training, workshops or capability development programsStrong presentation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience delivering learning in both virtual and face-to-face environmentsThe ability to simplify complex policy, legislation, business processes or system informationExperience evaluating training effectiveness and identifying improvementsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple training activitiesConfidence working with subject matter experts in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications in Training and Workplace Assessment or a related discipline, and experience delivering training connected to regulatory reform or ICT systems, will be highly regarded.Contract Dates: 13/10/26 - 30/06/27Rate: $60 - $68 per hour + 12% SuperLocation: Canberra CBDPlease note - Due to large volume of applications, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.Applications close Thursday 24 September.
