Lead Installer – Domestic Structural Steel
HANDS-ON LEAD INSTALLER – DOMESTIC STRUCTURAL STEEL
We don't need someone who just talks about steel — we need someone who knows how to install it.
If you can read a structural plan, run a crew, work with cranes, weld when required and solve problems on site,we want to hear from you.
This is ahands-on leadership rolefor an experienced domestic structural steel installer who takes pride in getting the job donesafely, accurately and properly the first time.
The Role
Lead a small installation crew
Install beams, posts structural steel
Read and work from structural drawings
Set out and accurately install steelwork
Arc/MIG welding and site modifications
Site rectification and problem solving
Work directly with builders and other trades
Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
This is a hands on Role
What We're Looking For
Solid domestic structural steel installation experience
Previous experience leading a crew
Confident reading structural drawings
Welding experience
Excellent knowledge of hand and power tools
Robust measuring and set-out skills
Good communication and leadership
MR/HR licence preferred
White Card
Reliable, hardworking and safety focused
