About the RoleAs our Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support each child's development across all domains, working closely with families, colleagues and the broader centre community.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and structure learning experiences in both indoor and outdoor environments, using a variety of materials and equipment to support children's developmentDesign activities that build motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understandingPromote language development through storytelling, role play, songs,



rhymes and individual and group discussionsObserve and assess children's progress, and identify early signs of ill health, emotional disturbance or other developmental concernsMonitor children's nutritional health, welfare and safety, and identify factors that may impede their progressCommunicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and developmentAttend parent interviews, staff meetings and committee meetingsParticipate in community and family support programs as appropriateSupervise student teachers on placementAbout YouBachelor degree (or higher) qualification in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent recognised qualificationCurrent early childhood teacher registration (VIT or equivalent), or eligibility to obtain registrationWorking with Children Check and any other mandatory clearancesStrong communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood developmentAbility to work collaboratively within a small, supportive teamWhat We OfferSalary: $76,000 – $86,000 per annum (full-time), commensurate with experienceA supportive, family-oriented workplace cultureOpportunities for skilled growth and development
