In particular, direct corporate funds experience isn't essential.They're looking for someone who is:Strong technically, particularly across corporate transactionsCommercial and pragmaticConfident drafting and negotiatingComfortable working with sophisticated clientsCurious and keen to learnA genuinely good team playerIt's a growth role within a relatively lean team, so you'll get meaningful exposure rather than being lost in a large corporate group.The work is sophisticated, the clients are excellent and there's a real opportunity to develop a niche across M&A;, funds and private capital without having to completely step away from your corporate skillset.If you're a corporate lawyer who has been wondering whether there might be something a little more compelling out there, this one is worth a chat.
