The Telecommunications Field Engineer will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of telecommunications and associated electronic systems.
The role will involve working with structured cabling, network-connected field devices, and integrated technology systems, while maintaining a strong focus on workmanship, safety, and client service.Key responsibilitiesInstall, terminate, test and commission telecommunications cabling and associated field equipmentCarry out fault finding, maintenance and repairs on telecommunications and electronic systemsConfigure, test and support IP-based devices and connected infrastructureRead and interpret drawings, schematics, layouts and technical documentationComplete site testing, commissioning records, service reports and other required documentationLiaise professionally with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholdersEnsure works are completed in accordance with relevant standards, site requirements and company proceduresAssist with project delivery, service works and system upgrades across multiple client sitesAbout youRelevant experience in a Telecommunications Field Engineer, Communications Technician, Security Technician,
