Brisbane CBD | Monday-Friday | Fully office-basedEnd-to-end, multi-entity payroll | Experienced Payroll ManagerA well-established Queensland property development group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its Brisbane CBD corporate office.Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you'll work within a close two-person payroll team and process end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and varied pay cycles.Please note: this role is fully office-based Monday to Friday, with no WFH arrangement currently available.
Standard hours are 8:30am-5:00pm.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly, fortnightly and monthly end-to-end payrollsManage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and employee deductionsProcess leave, terminations and workers' compensation paymentsComplete payroll, commission and General Ledger reconciliationsMaintain accurate employee records and payroll system dataRespond to payroll queries and investigate discrepanciesSupport statutory reporting,
audits and process improvementsTo be considered, you will require:A minimum of two years' payroll experiencePrevious hands-on end-to-end payroll experienceKnowledge of Up-to-date Awards, National Employment Standards and payroll legislationIntermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skillsStrong numerical accuracy and payroll reconciliation experienceExperience with HR3, broader finance functions or the real estate/property industry would be advantageous.
