With new equipment, production lines and technology being introduced, the site is expanding its manufacturing capability and creating opportunities to improve capacity, efficiency and automation.Located in the SE Suburbs, this is an chance to lead production through an exciting period of growth, investment and operational change.The RoleReporting to the GM of Operations, this is a key leadership role responsible for day-to-day production performance and leading a team of approximately 60 across three key production areas.Lead production performance, delivering safe, quality and efficient outcomes across the siteOwn day-to-day operational decisions across safety, quality, service, people and costLead, coach and develop Production Leaders and the wider production teamDrive performance against key KPIs, including throughput, labour, waste, quality and efficiencyChampion food safety, quality and compliance across the production functionImprove labour planning,



workforce utilisation and labour cost managementPartner with Planning and Supply Chain to improve production planning and strengthen S&OPWork; closely with Engineering and equipment suppliers on new machinery, production lines and commissioningSupport significant capital projects and the integration of new manufacturing capabilityManage production OPEX, ensuring effective control of labour and operational costsPartner with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve issues and drive continuous improvementYour BackgroundTo be successful in this role, you will bring proven production leadership capability, a strong food safety mindset and a genuine passion for developing people and driving operational excellence.Proven people leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environmentExperience within food, FMCG or another highly regulated manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of food safety, quality and compliance systems, including HACCP, GMP and SQFDemonstrated ability to improve production performance through data, problem solving and continuous improvementExperience managing labour utilisation, production costs and operational budgetsStrong production planning and S&OP; capability, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat's On OfferThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing food manufacturing business during a significant period of investment, expansion and change.
