You will work closely with the Site Team, Project Manager and broader project team to coordinate subcontractors, manage programme requirements and ensure all finishing works comply with the approved design documentation, specifications and agreed scopes of work.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Supervising internal and external finishing trades across the projectPlanning, sequencing and coordinating finishing works in line with the construction programmeManaging subcontractor performance, labour resources, materials and deliveriesReviewing declared design drawings, specifications and trade scopes before works commenceCoordinating design, programme, quality and technical requirementsConducting regular inspections and identifying incomplete,



defective or non-conforming workDriving the prompt rectification and close-out of defectsMaintaining strong quality assurance records throughout the finishes phaseSupporting the timely close-out of QA observations, corrective actions and non-conformance reportsPromoting and enforcing high standards of WHS across all finishing activitiesCoordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholdersAssisting with inspections, commissioning, handover and final completionProviding transparent progress updates to the Site Manager and project teamAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Demonstrated experience as a Finishes Supervisor, Foreperson or Senior Leading HandExperience delivering Class 2 apartment or multi-residential projectsStrong knowledge of internal finishes, external finishes and construction sequencingA thorough understanding of quality assurance and defect managementThe ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and trade scopesStrong planning, coordination and problem-solving skillsA practical, hands-on approach to site supervisionThe ability to build productive relationships with trades, consultants and the project teamHigh personal standards for workmanship, presentation and attention to detailConfidence using construction management, site safety and defect management softwareA current White CardA current Australian driver licenceFull Australian working rightsWhy Join MARS Building?
