You will have the opportunity to influence training culture across a long‐established, family owned transport business.What is on offerCompetitive salary plus superCompany vehicle (fully maintained company vehicle is provided for travel between your residence and work locations to perform daily business duties)Nominal hours of work 5:30am to 2:30pm – Monday to FridayFlexible hours and autonomy to plan your tasks to meet both onsite/offside work needsPermanent full-time stabilityA varied role across transport, warehousing and crane operationsThe opportunity to create lasting cultural changeSupport for ongoing skills and qualification developmentAbout the roleYou will work closely with operational leaders, new starters, existing operators and buddy mentors to maintain consistent training and compliance standards.Key responsibilities include:Assisting and facilitating onboarding training for recent employeesConduct operator assessments, VOCs and post‐incident trainingProvide practical and theory‐based load restraint trainingComplete on‐site and off‐site load restraint auditsAttend toolbox talks and help deliver work instructions and safety alertsSupport incident and accident investigations when requiredReview work instructions, SWMS,



procedures and risk assessmentsPromote safe‐act observations and positive safety behavioursMaintain accurate training and compliance recordsWork with leaders and buddy mentors to improve training processesAbout youYou will be a confident heavy vehicle professional who can coach, assess and communicate effectively with people at different levels of experienceMC heavy vehicle licenceCertificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driving Training – Heavy Vehicle (TLI*****) or a recognised equivalentDemonstrated experience in heavy vehicle operations and driver trainingStrong understanding of load restraint, WHS and risk managementConfidence conducting operator assessments and providing constructive feedbackClear verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with drivers, supervisors and managementComputer literacy across Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and ExcelCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****)HRW Licence – LF / CV and/or WPExperience using handheld technology and digital training or compliance systemsExperience supporting incident investigations, audits or compliance reviewsWhy Russell Transport?
