We are looking for anexperienced PD Fitterto join our Service team and play an significant role in ensuring our new and usedRVs, caravans and motorhomesare completed to a high standard and ready for customer delivery.
The Role
As an experienced PD Fitter, you will be responsible for preparing RVs and caravans for delivery, ensuring every vehicle issafe, functional, correctly fitted and presented to our customers at the highest standard.
Your day may include:
Completingpre-delivery inspections and preparation
Fitting and installingaccessories and equipment
Carrying out minor repairs, adjustments and finishing work
Working with hand and power tools
Installing and checking cabinetry, fittings and fixtures
Inspecting vehicles for quality and presentation
Identifying and rectifying issues prior to customer delivery
Working from job sheets and following manufacturer procedures
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship across every vehicle
What We're Looking For
We are specifically seeking anexperienced PD Fitterwith a background in either:
Automotive or RV / Caravan industries.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in aPD Fitter / Pre-Delivery role
Automotive or RV / caravan industry experience
Solid practical and technical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confidence using hand and power tools
The ability to identify and resolve issues
A strong commitment to quality and safety
The ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
A current driver's licence
RV and caravan experience will be highly regarded, particularly experience with Jayco products, accessories and fit-outs.
