Our client, a well-established organisation based in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced, hands-onSAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultantto own the configuration, security, and stability of their SuccessFactors landscape.
This role focuses on Employee Central and Recruiting.
It's a great opportunity for aconfiguration specialistwho enjoys working independently and being the go-totechnical authorityfor the platform.
This is a hands‐on, build‐and‐configure role.
About the Role
Permanent, full‐time position
Mainly on‐site, with 1 day WFH (adaptable) - Brisbane based
Key Responsibilities
Own end‐to‐endconfigurationof SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting, including security and role‐based permissions (RBP)
Plan and execute SuccessFactors releases, patches, and bi‐annual upgrades, including impact assessment and regression testing
Configure and maintainEmployee Central data models, business rules, workflows, MDF objects, and picklists
Monitor system performance, data integrity, and platform health — proactively identifying and resolving issues
Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents and service requests, ensuring SLAs are met
Document system configuration and standard operating procedures




Liaise with SAP support and internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Payroll) to translate business requirements into system configuration
What You'll Bring
8+ years of overall SAP experience, including a minimum of 5 years dedicated to SAP SuccessFactorsconfiguration
Proven experience as afunctional/configuration consultanton at least one full‐cycle SuccessFactors implementation or major upgrade
Strong hands‐on,technical configuration expertisein Employee Central — business rules, workflows, MDF, and the RBP security model
Strong hands‐on experienceconfiguringSuccessFactors Recruiting
SAP SuccessFactors certification(s) in relevant modulesrequired(e.g. Employee Central, Recruiting Management)
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Note: this is a hands‐on configuration/technical role — candidates whose background is primarily business analysis or requirements gathering (without deep, hands‐on configuration experience) will not be a fit
