A leading medical technology organisation is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and market development across Sydney within its Structural Heart portfolio, with a particular focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven medical device sales qualified who enjoys working in a highly specialised clinical environment and partnering with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary heart teams to improve patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth and market share across the Sydney territory for the TAVI portfolioDevelop and maintain strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons,



cath lab teams and key hospital stakeholdersIdentify and convert new business opportunities within existing and emerging structural heart accountsProvide clinical and procedural support during TAVI casesDevelop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales objectivesWork closely with clinical, marketing and leadership teams to support product adoption and account developmentMonitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunitiesRequirementsMinimum 2 years' experience selling TAVI devices within the Australian marketRecent hands on TAVI experience gained within the last 12 monthsStrong understanding of structural heart therapies and catheter based proceduresExperience supporting cases within cath lab and operating theatre environmentsProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targetsStrong relationship building, influencing and stakeholder management skillsCommercially minded with excellent presentation and communication abilitiesFull Australian working rights and willingness to travel across New South Wales as required
