An excellent opportunity for an experienced governance and risk qualified to step into a senior role and influence organisation-wide governance, risk and assurance practices.
This position will suit someone who can combine robust technical governance and enterprise risk expertise with the confidence to advise senior leaders, challenge existing practices and drive meaningful improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and support enterprise risk, governance, assurance and performance frameworksProvide high-level strategic advice to executives and senior stakeholdersCoordinate risk reviews, controls assessments and mitigation activitiesSupport internal audit, compliance, business continuity and broader assurance activitiesPrepare high-quality executive briefs, reports, submissions and Board/committee papersReview and improve governance policies, procedures, tools and reporting processesFacilitate workshops,



training and risk capability initiativesBuild solid relationships across internal business areas and government stakeholdersContribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
You will bring strong experience across governance, enterprise risk, assurance or a related discipline, ideally gained within government or another complex and highly regulated environment.
You will also demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of contemporary governance and enterprise risk practicesHighly developed analytical and strategic thinking skillsConfidence advising and influencing senior stakeholdersExcellent written communication and executive-level reporting capabilityExperience improving frameworks, controls, policies and processesThe ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes in a complex environment
Qualifications in governance, risk, audit, business management or a related field will be highly regarded.
