A capable Lawyer with varied experience to join a Lower North Shore practice office.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of client and commercial matters while contributing to the strategic objectives of a growing practice.Key responsibilitiesManaging matters end-to-end, from initial advice through to resolution, including (where applicable) discovery, witness preparation and court appearancesDrafting high-quality legal documents: pleadings, affidavits, notices of motion, submissions,
advices and correspondenceProviding strategic commercial advice focused on dispute prevention and risk mitigationAdvising on contractual disputes and commercial transactionsConducting legal research and analysis on complex issuesBriefing and collaborating with counselRepresenting clients in negotiationsMaintaining accurate file management and meeting all professional and regulatory obligationsSupporting business development and strengthening client relationshipsWorking closely with the Principal, fellow solicitors and support staff to deliver solid outcomes for the practiceAbout you3 years experience post PQEStrong written communication — clear, concise and persuasiveA disciplined work ethic and ownership of files; reliable, organised and detail-drivenConfidence dealing with clients, counsel, courts and other solicitorsExposure to family matters, criminal matters, contractual disputes, debt recovery and enforcement, employment disputes, litigious and dispute resolution matters, or general corporate and commercial work
