We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Manager to manage a 385-apartment residential development in North Sydney, working within a complex BMC setting.
This is a genuine senior opportunity for an experienced residential Building Manager who is confident managing stakeholders, contractors, building operations and the complexities of a new development.About the RoleWorking within a complex Building Management Committee (BMC)Overseeing day-to-day building operations and maintenanceManaging contractors, service providers and building-related worksConducting regular building inspections and identifying maintenance requirementsManaging resident, owner and stakeholder relationshipsWorking closely with the Strata Manager, Owners Corporation and BMCOverseeing preventative and reactive maintenanceManaging building compliance and safety requirementsTaking ownership of building presentation and operational standardsManaging and coordinating the defects process with builders,



contractors and relevant stakeholders Monitoring outstanding defects through to resolution Supporting long-term maintenance and asset planning Working closely with a full-time Assistant Building Manager already based on siteAbout YouThis is a role for a strong, experienced residential Building Manager who can take ownership of a complex building and confidently manage multiple stakeholders.5+ years' residential Building Management experience – essentialStrong experience working within a BMC environment – essentialPrevious experience managing a new-build residential siteStrong experience managing the defects and rectification process Excellent contractor and service-provider management skills Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance and compliance Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach The confidence to deal with residents, Owners Corporations, committees, contractors and senior stakeholders Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesWhat's on Offer?
