You will also work alongside accountants and cadets within a collaborative team environment.Key responsibilitiesPreparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnershipsPreparation and reconciliation of BAS,



IAS and other statutory obligationsPreparation of electronic workpapers through to review stageGeneral ledger reconciliations and maintaining supporting documentationAssisting with client queries and developing professional client relationshipsIdentifying potential tax implications and assisting with solutions for clientsLiaising with the ATO and other agencies where requiredSupporting workflow management and meeting lodgement deadlinesAssisting with reviewing bookkeeping and tax work where requiredProviding guidance and support to junior team members where appropriateAbout You2+ years experience in an Australian public practice firmRelevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or CommerceCompleted, studying toward or intending to undertakeCA or CPAExperience preparing financial statements and tax returns for SME clientsExperience usingXero and MYOBStrong Excel and general IT skillsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to manage competing deadlines and work proactivelyPositive attitude and robust work ethicWhy Join Us?
