Our client, a South Australian Government organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Team Leader to join their team on an initial 8 week temporary assignment, with a robust likelihood of extension.This is a senior finance opportunity with a strong focus on financial forecasting, budget management and financial analysis.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide high level financial advice and insights to support planning, financial performance and informed decision making.You will also provide leadership and support to a small finance team while contributing to the broader financial management of the organisation.About the roleKey responsibilities will include:Lead the development and delivery of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting processesProvide high level financial advice to senior leaders around budget planning, financial performance and emerging risksUndertake complex financial analysis, including cost and revenue reviews, to support business decisions and savings targetsOversee financial systems, governance and risk controls and ensure compliance with relevant requirementsLead finance related projects and initiatives, including improvements to financial models and business processesPrepare and coordinate financial reporting for senior and external stakeholdersLead and support a small finance team, including performance management,
