DescriptionAbout the RoleThis is a pivotal role where you'll shape the technical capability of our Motor Claims consultants - from onboarding new team members right through to designing ongoing development programs that keep our people sharp, confident and customer-focused.You'll be the go-to expert for technical knowledge, coaching support and process improvement, working closely with our Motor Claims leaders and the broader Learning & Development team to build a culture of high performance with high integrity.What You'll Be DoingDelivering coaching and technical knowledge training to Motor Claims consultants and leadersDesigning and implementing a technical training model that boosts capability and productivityOwning the ongoing content management of our learning materials and knowledge baseIdentifying knowledge gaps and technical trends, and turning them into actionable coaching and training solutionsSupporting the onboarding of current team members and helping them transition confidently into their rolesProviding trend data and progress reporting to the Leadership TeamPartnering with the Learning & Development team to continuously improve our induction programsDriving process improvements and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experienceEnsuring all changes are executed and embedded through a Change Program frameworkMaking sure we stay compliant with business risk policies and relevant legislation - and challenging those policies when the commercial or legislative environment demands itWhat We're Looking ForYou'll bring a combination of technical claims expertise and genuine passion for developing people.
Specifically, you'll have:Previous experience in a Motor Claims role (preferred)Solid working knowledge of insurance legislation and proceduresExcellent coaching skills; ideally with experience using Coaching Conversations methodologyStrong Customer Service skills in line with Customer Connections methodologyThe ability to spot and document consultant performance improvement opportunitiesExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences and skill levelsConfidence working autonomously in a fast‐paced, high‐pressure environmentStrong time management and prioritisation skillsA continuous improvement mindset; always looking for smarter ways to do thingsComfort with change and the resilience to help others navigate itLocation - This role will be based in our North Lakes office.Extra leave - Enjoy additional leave days on us!
