We are partnering with a highly recognised household-name organisation to secure a Security Architect for an initial 12-month contract.This is a broad security architecture role with a strong focus on helping the organisation design and embed secure technology solutions across a large and complex environment.You'll work closely with senior technology and business stakeholders, providing security architecture guidance across projects, technology initiatives and the wider security landscape.
The role will involve assessing solutions, identifying and managing security risks, developing security requirements and ensuring security is considered from the early stages of design through to implementation.
The role
Provide security architecture advice across major technology projects and initiativesDevelop and review security designs, patterns, standards and requirementsAssess technology solutions and identify potential security risks and control gapsWork closely with technology, engineering and business stakeholders to embed security into projectsSupport risk assessments, remediation activities, audits and assurance processesProvide guidance across areas including cloud, infrastructure,



applications and emerging technologiesContribute to the development and continual improvement of security standards, policies and frameworksEngage with vendors and technology partners to assess security capabilities and requirementsRepresent security across project and governance forums
About you
We're looking for a security qualified with strong security architecture experience and the ability to operate comfortably with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong experience in cyber security / information security, with a background in security architecture or security consultingExperience designing and assessing security controls within complex enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of enterprise security principles, architecture and risk managementExposure to cloud security, infrastructure and/or application securityExperience working across security frameworks, standards, policies and risk requirementsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsThe ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide pragmatic security adviceStrong written and verbal communication skills
