The role ensures that engineering solutions are safe, compliant, constructible and optimised to meet project cost, schedule, quality and risk objectives.Reporting to the Engineering Lines and Towers Manager, this role works closely with construction, project controls, logistics, safety, environment, land access and asset owner teams, the role provides technical governance and assurance throughout design, construction and handover.
The role plays a critical role in managing engineering risk, ensuring constructability and maintaining compliance with the Builder PSDR, PCRs, PFRs, relevant standards and approvals.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesLead all engineering activities related to transmission lines, towers and associated structuresProvide technical leadership for line route, tower type selection, foundations and structural systemsEnsure engineering deliverables comply with the Builder PSDR, PCRs, PFRs and applicable standardsOversee development, review and acceptance of design documentation across all design stagesIntegrate constructability, operability and maintainability considerations into engineering outcomesManage engineering interfaces between lines, structures, foundations,
