We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join our warehousing and logistics team based atWadsworth or Gaza Ridge Barracks.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where your contribution directly supports the movement and management of Defence equipment and supplies.
Due to the nature of the work,Australian Citizenship is essential, and the successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain aGovernment Security Clearance.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling and distribution of Defence-related inventory and assets.
Responsibilities include:
Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE)
Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods
Picking, packing and dispatching freight and inventory
Maintaining accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Conducting stock control and inventory management activities
Supporting loading and unloading operations
Following Defence, safety and operational compliance requirements
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
Working collaboratively with your team to meet operational deadlines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a dependable team player with a strong safety focus and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
You'll bring:
Current LF Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
Previous warehouse, logistics or storeperson experience
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)




Sound knowledge of inventory control and stock management processes
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to workplace safety and operational compliance
