Owen Pharmacy Group is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team and take ownership of the Group's human resources function across eight pharmacy locations.This is a hands-on HR role where you will work closely with managers across the business, providing practical advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the Group and make a genuine difference to our people and workplace.We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with flexibility around working hours for the right person.About the role:As HR Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the HR function and will provide advice and support to managers across all areas of people management.Your responsibilities will include:Providing practical HR advice and support to Pharmacist Managers and Retail Managers across multiple locationsSupporting managers with performance management, disciplinary matters and employee relations issuesManaging employee grievances and workplace concerns in a professional and confidential mannerProviding advice on employment conditions, workplace policies and relevant legislationInterpreting and applying the Pharmacy Industry Award and other relevant industrial instrumentsDeveloping, reviewing and implementing HR policies, procedures and processesMaintaining accurate and confidential employee recordsAssisting with workforce planning and recruitment across the GroupManaging employment contracts,



variations and other employee documentationIdentifying opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experienceAbout you:We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident working independently and taking ownership of a broad HR function.You will ideally have:Several years' experience in a HR roleStrong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace relationsDemonstrated experience managing performance, conduct and disciplinary mattersConfidence providing HR advice to managersExperience developing and implementing HR policies and proceduresExperience managing recruitment and the employee lifecycleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with employees and managers at all levelsA high level of discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive mattersExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locationsA proactive, practical and solutions-focused approachA varied and hands-on HR leadership roleFull-time or part time employment to suit the right candidateFlexible working hours to support work-life balanceThe opportunity to make a genuine impact on HR processes and workplace cultureA diverse workforce across multiple pharmacy locationsThe autonomy to develop and improve HR systems, policies and processesA supportive team environmentIf you are an experienced HR professional looking for a hands-on role where you can take ownership of the HR function and make a genuine difference, we would love to hear from you.
