What’s the job?

/n

The Storeperson assists with inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the hotel’s store/s inventory records. You’ll communicate with the store person, vendors, clients, and internal departments ensuring that the purchasing operations are running smoothly, whilst jumping in to support the hotel team as required.

- Following appropriate storage procedures to put away all stock correctly in cool rooms, fridges and dry stores.

/n

- Receiving and checking of goods at loading dock

/n

- Preparing the market list for food & non-food items

/n

- Assist with monitoring of beverage & selected food stock levels

/n

- Assist with placing orders as required

/n

- Assist with month-end stock takes

/n

- Cleaning store areas and ensuring they are kept in an organised manner

/n

- Inputting invoices into e-Procurement system when required

/n

- Assist with training of colleagues

/n

- Assisting with other duties as requested by Purchasing Officer

/n

- Comply with all HACCP and occupational health & safety policies and procedures, with particular regard to food safety and safe manual handling.

/n

What we need from you

/n





Valid working rights in Australia are required for this role (kindly be aware that we cannot sponsor for this role).

/n

Ability to work regular Saturdays, plus weekdays particularly on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

/n

The role requires good physical fitness, as you will be on your feet for most of the day and need to bend and kneel frequently, whilst carrying and moving items.

/n

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, making it easy for guests to approach you with concerns or compliments, ensuring a positive experience for all.

/n

Fluency in English is essential.

/n

Strong reading and writing abilities are important to understand mandatory training, following instructions and using chemicals correctly.

/n

A friendly, kind and helpful nature and someone who enjoys meeting and working with people from all over the world.

/n

Your problem-solving abilities will turn challenges into opportunities, allowing every guest to leave with great memories.
