Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, integration, and support of modeling and simulation architecture for autonomous vehicle platforms.
- Act as the subject matter expert for engineering-level simulation across platform, system, subsystem, component, and device levels.
- Simulate guidance, navigation, control, and vehicle management system implementations.
- Integrate vendor and customer models into Anduril’s engineering simulation architecture.
- Create models, test fixtures, and simulation fixtures for software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop operation.
- Contribute to robotic software development processes, lifecycle testing, and other software systems and subsystems.
- Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
- Mentor software engineers and contribute as a technical owner for software services.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with platform physics-based modeling and simulation.
- Experience programming in C, C++, or Python.
- Systems or application programming skills involving algorithms, data structures, concurrency,



and optimization.
- Ability to work across the software stack and through design, implementation, operation, and sustainment.
- Ability to own software services, including requirements, roadmaps, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and sustainment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Preferred experience in a senior simulation role delivering robotic systems in air, maritime, or space domains.
- Preferred experience with flight dynamics, platform physics and control, MATLAB, Simulink, communications buses and protocols, and product delivery lifecycle activities.
- Familiarity with systems engineering concepts is preferred.
