About the Role /n

Based at our Broadmeadows site, you’ll be part of a team delivering high-quality food and beverage ingredients every day. We are looking for experienced Production Operators from food manufacturing environments to join the team.

/n

This is a hands-on role where safety, quality, and consistency are critical. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality food and beverage ingredients, working closely with the Production Supervisor to meet daily production targets.

What Your Day Looks Like /n

/n

- Follow directions from the Production Supervisor so that our production program meets our customer's needs in a timely manner.

/n

- Ensure that all products, processes, and ingredients are handled with care using Good Manufacturing Practices and in accordance with appropriate Food Quality programs.

/n

- Ensure that relevant Dangerous Goods regulations are complied with (in conjunction with the Project and Quality Coordinator)

/n

- Keep appropriate records such as Batch Sheets to ensure quality and HACCP compliance.

/n

- Work as a team member, giving assistance and motivation to other members of the team.

/n

- Proactively become familiar with Company procedures and requirements, as well as the individual requirements of other employees and of our customers.

/n

- Be involved with continuous improvements

/n

- Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

/n

- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.

/n





- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

/n

- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

/n

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

/n

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and identify areas for improvement.

/n

- Always adhere to company policies and regulations.

/n

- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety to ensure that their actions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.

/n

- Cooperate with and comply with any instructions, policies, or procedures related to health or safety in the workplace that have been communicated to workers.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments (strongly regarded)

/n

- Solid understanding of GMP, HACCP, and quality standards

/n

- Switched-on, reliable, and committed team player

/n

- High attention to detail with a "gets it right the first time" mindset

/n

- Ability to follow processes and work in a fast-paced environment

/n

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative

/n

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks (lifting up to 15kg and more)

/n

- Forklift license (desirable & beneficial)

/n
