An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mathematics educator to step into a key leadership position within a well-established, values-driven school community on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

Commencing Term 1, 2027, the Head of Mathematics will provide leadership across the Secondary Mathematics faculty, driving high-quality teaching and learning while supporting, mentoring and developing a collaborative team of teachers.

The successful candidate will combine excellent classroom practice with strong leadership capability and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics and STEM education.

✨ The Role

- Lead the Secondary Mathematics faculty and oversee curriculum delivery
- Drive contemporary, engaging and evidence-based teaching practices
- Mentor and support Mathematics teachers across the department
- Promote strong student engagement and achievement in Mathematics
- Support the continued development of STEM initiatives across the school
- Contribute to whole-school teaching and learning priorities
- Temporary, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

✨ About You





- Experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher with strong subject knowledge
- Previous Head of Department, Coordinator or similar leadership experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop teaching staff
- Strong understanding of contemporary Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Passionate about improving student outcomes and engagement
- Collaborative, organised and confident in providing faculty leadership
- Current NESA accreditation and appropriate NSW teaching qualifications
