Multiple Data Analysts & Data Engineers | Databricks
Join a complex Australian Government data setting as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer, using Databricks, SQL, PySpark and Spark SQL to deliver reliable analytics, data pipelines and reporting solutions.

Location : ACT, other states can be considered
Contract Duration: To 30 June 2027, with a possible 6-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Essential Tasks

- Analyse complex datasets, reconcile data and develop repeatable analytical and reporting solutions.
- Design, build and maintain scalable Databricks pipelines and migrate SAS workflows.
- Develop PySpark, Spark SQL and SQL solutions using Delta Lake, Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD.
- Investigate data quality issues, document solutions and support stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer.

Key Criteria

- Data Analyst: advanced SQL, Databricks, PySpark or Spark SQL, with strong data profiling, reconciliation and quality assurance skills.
- Data Engineer: strong Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL,



Delta Lake and ETL/ELT experience, including SAS migration.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and technical documentation.
- Australian citizenship and a current Baseline security clearance.
