About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking motivated candidates to commence a Boat Building Apprenticeship with a manufacturing business in the Shoalhaven area.
This is a great opportunity to start a career in the boat building and manufacturing industry while gaining hands-on experience and completing your apprenticeship locally.
You will learn from experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills across the boat building process while working as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
As part of your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn practical boat building and manufacturing skills
- Assist experienced tradespeople with day-to-day production work
- Use a range of hand and power tools
- Measure, cut, assemble and fit materials
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Develop your skills throughout your apprenticeship
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is motivated to learn a new trade
- Has a genuine interest in boat building or manufacturing
- Is reliable and willing to work as part of a team
- Has a practical, hands-on approach
- Can follow instructions and safety procedures
- Is committed to completing their apprenticeship
No previous experience is required — a positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
