Mauri, part of the George Weston Foods Group, is a leading supplier of high-quality flours, yeasts, pre-mixes, improvers, grains and animal nutrition.

Our Weston Animal Nutrition division is one of Australia's largest and longest established manufacturers of high-quality processed animal feed products.

We provide compound feeds, concentrates, and nutritional services for commercially farmed animals from sites throughout Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

We have an opportunity for an Ingredient Buyer to join our Weston Animal Nutrition (WAN) team, based at our Enfield site in Sydney.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, you'll own the end-to-end purchasing of ingredients across our Australian and New Zealand feed mills.

You'll be responsible for:

- Raising and managing daily purchase orders and contracts across multiple sites in SAP
- Reviewing commodity and market reports
- Running and owning tender processes
- Monitoring stock coverage and forecasting purchase requirements against mill usage and customer demand
- Managing inbound logistics, delivery scheduling, shipping and lead times for both domestic and imported ingredients

About You

You're commercially minded, organised and comfortable making buying decisions in a rapid-moving environment. You build strong supplier relationships and are equally comfortable with the commercial detail, whether that's following up a delayed delivery or negotiating a better price.

You will bring:

- Procurement,



buying and supply chain experience, ideally in a manufacturing or agribusiness environment.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
- An understanding of demand planning, inventory management and inbound logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with animal feed, micro-nutrients or commodities is highly regarded, though not essential.
