Key Responsibilities /n

/n

- Complete scheduled multi-drop delivery runs throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.

/n

- Conduct vehicle pre-start inspections before commencing each run.

/n

- Review manifests, delivery instructions and planned route sequencing prior to departure.

/n

- Load, secure and transport products safely and appropriately.

/n

- Confirm that products loaded correspond with the delivery manifest.

/n

- Deliver orders accurately, safely and within expected delivery windows.

/n

- Follow planned delivery sequences to minimise unnecessary travel and backtracking.

/n

- Navigate efficiently between multiple customer locations.

/n

- Unload products safely at customer premises and place goods in designated receiving areas where required.

/n

- Obtain proof of delivery and complete all required delivery documentation.

/n

- Verify quantities and delivery details with customers where necessary.

/n

- Immediately report shortages, damages, rejected products or delivery discrepancies.

/n

- Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers.

/n

- Communicate delays, access issues, vehicle problems or other delivery concerns to the Transport team.

/n

- Handle chilled, frozen and ambient products in accordance with applicable food-safety and temperature-control requirements.

/n

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure the vehicle is presented to an appropriate operational standard.

/n

- Comply with road laws, company policies, fatigue-management requirements and workplace health and safety procedures.

/n

- Return undelivered, rejected or damaged stock to the depot with appropriate documentation.

/n

- Return to the depot following completion of the allocated delivery run and complete required end-of-day processes.

/n

- Assist with loading, unloading and general warehouse activities when reasonably required.

/n

As a regular point of contact between the business and its customers, the driver is expected to represent the company professionally at all times.

Safety & Compliance /n

The driver is responsible for operating their vehicle safely and legally at all times. This includes completing required vehicle checks, securing loads correctly, following safe manual-handling practices, observing fatigue-management requirements and immediately reporting vehicle defects, incidents, injuries or safety concerns.

Food products must be transported and handled in a manner that protects product quality and maintains required temperature controls throughout the delivery process.

Skills & Experience /n

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

- Previous multi-drop delivery or transport experience.

/n

- Valuable knowledge of Brisbane and South East Queensland road networks.

/n

- Ability to efficiently navigate between multiple delivery locations.

/n

- Strong time-management and organisational skills.

/n

- Ability to work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule.

/n

- Good communication and customer-service skills.

/n

- Ability to safely perform repetitive manual handling.

/n

- Attention to detail when checking orders, quantities and delivery documentation.

/n

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to completing allocated runs.

/n

- Ability to adapt to traffic conditions, customer delays and operational changes.

/n

Licence & Other Requirements /n

/n

- Ability to meet company driving and safety requirements.

/n

- Ability to safely undertake the physical requirements associated with loading and unloading deliveries.

/n

Position Objective /n

The overall objective of the role is to ensure that every allocated customer receives the correct order safely, professionally and efficiently while supporting an effective, reliable and cost-conscious transport operation.
