Port Lincoln Health and Hospital Service is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN1) to join Eyre Ward A and the Emergency Department in Port Lincoln, South Australia. This is a 12-week contract role running from 19 October 2026 to 8 January 2027. The successful candidate will work across both ward and emergency settings in a rural and remote environment, with potential redeployment to other areas based on operational needs and skill mix.

- Work across acute ward and emergency department settings in a rural healthcare service
- 12-week contract with flexible FTE (0.84-1.0) and potential for redeployment based on service needs
- Prospect to develop broad clinical skills in a smaller, community-focused health service

Preferred Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




- Experience working in acute ward and/or emergency department environments
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexibly across multiple clinical areas
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a rural healthcare setting
- Willingness to support operational needs through potential redeployment when required

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings is advantageous
