About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agribusiness banker to join a growing and highly regarded team, managing relationships across Australia's agribusiness sector. Based in Brisbane, this role offers the unique ability to write and originate Agribusiness deals right across the East Coast of Australia while remaining firmly connected to a Queensland-based team and market. While the portfolio includes an existing customer base, this is predominantly a growth-focused opportunity where your success will be driven by your ability to identify, win and onboard new-to-bank customers and build a substantial portfolio over time.

You'll partner with primary producers, processors and broader agribusiness enterprises to deliver tailored banking and finance solutions that support growth, succession planning and long-term sustainability. Supported by a dedicated Agribusiness Analyst, you'll have the backing to focus on relationship building, strategic conversations and business development, while working closely with credit, product and specialist teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. This role is ideal for a commercially minded banker who enjoys being in market, building networks and creating opportunities within one of Australia's most important industries.

About You

You're an established Agribusiness, Commercial or Rural Banker with a genuine passion for the agricultural sector and a strong understanding of the industries that underpin Australia's food and fibre supply chain. You bring proven experience developing customer relationships, structuring lending solutions and managing complex conversations with business owners, advisers and industry stakeholders. Most importantly, you're energised by the prospect of building a book of business and have a strong track record of generating new opportunities through networking, referral partnerships and proactive business development.

You combine commercial acumen with sound credit capability and are comfortable analysing financial performance, assessing risk and presenting quality lending proposals. Equally important is your ability to become a trusted adviser to customers,

taking the time to understand their business and helping them navigate opportunities and challenges. Whether your background is in agribusiness banking, commercial banking or rural finance, you'll thrive in an autonomous role where relationship management, market presence and portfolio growth are key measures of success.
