Electrical Reliability Engineer

Our client, a leading enterprise in the resource industry as an Electrical Engineer, where you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing the operations of a major processing facility. Collaborate with a skilled team of technicians and engineers to ensure electrical reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across site processes.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in mining, resource, or heavy equipment industries
- Understanding of network and communications systems
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles
- Familiarity with Australian electrical standards
- Current WA C-Class driver's license
- Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent planning, organizational, scheduling, and coordination skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Qualifications or experience in instrumentation and commissioning within processing facilities
- Experience with electrical transmission or services
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant university degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Previous industry experience supporting electrical assets such as RMUs, transformers, distribution boards, VSDs, and motors
Other Requirements:
- Site-based role on an 8/6 roster
- Commitment to safety practices and proactive problem resolution
- Ability to develop and implement maintenance and reliability plans, including FMECAs
