About the Role

Monford is excited to offer opportunities for an experienced WHSE Advisor to join our team delivering a renewable energy project just over an hour outside of Perth.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in strengthening our safety culture — enhancing systems, conducting risk assessments, and driving positive change in behavioural safety. You’ll take ownership of WHSE documentation, lead incident investigations, and analyse safety data to help us maintain our industry-leading standards.

This is an onsite role and the successful candidate will ideally be based in Perth and the role will be DIDO (Drive in Drive Out) at the start and end of swings.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

- A minimum of 3-5 years previous onsite experience relating to Health and Safety, ideally in the construction industry.
- Certificate IV Work Health Safety – BSB41419 (Required)
- Tertiary or higher-level qualifications in a Safety or Risk Management discipline (Desirable).




- Ability to interpret and communicate relevant HSE legislation.
- Competent in MS office suite.
- Strong Attention to detail coupled with good organisation.
- Ability to prioritize workload in a quick-paced environment.
- Able to conduct safety and incident investigations
- A self-motivated and diligent work ethic, striving to achieve the highest standards in organisational safety and business transformation.

What will you do

- Maintain strong knowledge of the relevant Acts and Regulations and advise management of changes to legislation or activities being conducted or planned.
- Assist in investigation of reported incidents and near misses.
- Provide HSE advice and expertise to management, clients and internal staff on HSE issues.
- Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.
- Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
- Assist HR in ensuring company Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and emergency documentation are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Assist in the internal Audit programme.
- Identify and book safety training courses for site and head office staff.
