The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer and sitting within the Strategy & Corporate Affairs function, this is a broad role spanning corporate strategy, strategic growth, corporate development and commercial opportunity assessment.

You will help identify where Titles Queensland can grow beyond its established core business, assess which opportunities are strategically and commercially attractive, and help take those opportunities from initial idea through to execution.

Your remit will include:

- Identifying and assessing new growth opportunities and adjacent markets
- Corporate and commercial strategy
- M&A;, investment and corporate development opportunities
- Strategic partnerships, alliances and new ventures
- Market, customer and competitor analysis
- Commercial assessment, financial modelling and business case development
- Developing strategic options and recommendations for Executive and Board consideration
- Supporting due diligence and transaction activity where appropriate
- Helping move strategic initiatives from assessment and approval through to execution
- Contributing to the continued development of Titles Queensland's broader strategy and growth capability

You'll work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer, Executive team and leaders across the organisation, bringing structure and commercial thinking to opportunities where the answer may not initially be obvious.

About You
You'll be a commercially minded strategy or corporate development professional who enjoys solving complex problems, assessing opportunities and influencing senior decision-makers.

You'll be comfortable moving between high-level strategic thinking and the commercial detail required to determine whether an opportunity genuinely makes sense.

You'll ideally bring:

- Experience across corporate strategy, corporate development, strategic growth, M&A;, investment or a combination of these areas.
- Solid commercial judgement and structured problem-solving capability
- Demonstrated experience driving meaningful revenue growth through new market assessment, opportunity identification, partnership formation, investments / acquisitions or new ventures
- Experience negotiating or structuring commercial partnerships, investments or transactions
- Strong business case, commercial analysis and financial assessment capability
- The ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations
- Confidence engaging with Executive and Board-level stakeholders




- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity, initiative and comfort operating in an evolving environment
- The ability to take an chance from initial concept through assessment and into execution
- A strong orientation towards commercial outcomes, including revenue, adoption, strategic value and return on investment
- Experience working through ambiguity and making evidence-based recommendations with incomplete information
- The ability to influence and mobilise cross-functional teams without relying on direct authority

Experience within infrastructure, financial services, technology, data, property, government-owned or regulated organisations, investment environments or strategy/transaction advisory will be highly regarded.
