$142,000 + OT + Super
$55/hr + 30% Night Shift Loading + Premium Overtime Rates
A leading food manufacturing company based in Auburn is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its established engineering team on a permanent night shift.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician who enjoys working in a quick-paced manufacturing environment, with significant overtime available at premium rates.
The Role
Working as part of the night shift maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production running safely and efficiently, including:
- Electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs across production equipment
- Preventative and planned maintenance on manufacturing and packaging machinery
- Troubleshooting PLCs, sensors, motors, VSDs and control systems
- Responding to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime
- Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to maintain plant reliability
- Completing maintenance activities in line with food safety, quality and WHS requirements
About YouWe're looking for a qualified electrician with:
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Previous maintenance experience within food, FMCG, beverage, packaging or manufacturing
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Experience working with automated production equipment
- Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, motors, sensors and control systems
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and reliability
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during breakdown situations
- Strong commitment to safety and food manufacturing standards
