The Company

Our client is a leading Federal Government organisation responsible for delivering critical cyber, intelligence and technology capabilities. They are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support multiple ICT projects within a complex and highly secure environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery, drive continuous improvement, and enable high-performing teams to successfully deliver business outcomes. You will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, technical teams, and governance bodies to ensure successful delivery across multiple ICT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement
- Coach Agile teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Scrum and Agile best practices
- Foster high-performing, self-managing and collaborative teams
- Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks and dependencies
- Escalate issues through appropriate governance channels where required
- Prepare reports and updates for governance forums and steering committees




- Monitor and communicate key Agile metrics including velocity, sprint predictability, burn-down and burn-up charts
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across Agile teams and delivery functions

What We Need From You

Essential Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams within complex ICT environments
- Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to influence and build productive relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels
- Experience coaching individuals, teams and leadership groups in Agile practices
- Strong capability in identifying, assessing and managing risks, dependencies and delivery impediments
- Experience supporting high-performing cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Agile delivery tools and reporting metrics to drive continuous improvement

Current NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory at the time of submission
