The Opportunity
As the Clinical Science Liaison, you will serve as the scientific voice bridging clinical evidence and real-world practice. This field-based role places you at the forefront of our client's commercial launch, working closely with healthcare professionals to drive evidence-based adoption of innovative diagnostic technologies:

- Support customer adoption and utilisation of the company's diagnostic technologies through scientific engagement and education.
- Partner with commercial leadership to identify opportunities for market development, customer growth, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
- Translate emerging clinical evidence into compelling scientific narratives that demonstrate clinical utility and value to healthcare professionals.
- Act as a trusted scientific ambassador for the organisation, representing the company at conferences, industry events, customer meetings, and professional forums.
- Support the development of market-facing scientific content, educational resources, and evidence-based customer engagement strategies.

The Requirements

- 5+ years' experience in a Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Specialist, Field Applications Scientist, diagnostics, biotechnology, life sciences,



or pharmaceutical field-based role.
- Experience in molecular diagnostics, IVD, proteomics, NGS, oncology, pathology, gastroenterology, or related healthcare sectors.
- Strong scientific literacy with the ability to interpret complex clinical data and translate it into practical clinical and commercial value.
- Proven ability to engage and influence healthcare professionals, pathologists, laboratory personnel, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in customer-facing, commercial, market development, business development, or scientific support roles is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the Australian healthcare system, diagnostic testing pathways, and pathology environment.
- Commercially minded, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a hybrid scientific-commercial role within a growing organisation.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility, work independently, and travel nationally.
