Grounded is delivering one of the region’s largest commercial projects, and we’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to take charge on the ground.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity supporting a long-term, large-scale project in Bunbury. The current roster is Monday to Friday, with one Saturday worked every six weeks. The role is suitable for someone based locally or travelling from Perth on a DIDO arrangement.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant project, lead a capable site team and play an important role in delivering a landmark development for the region.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you’ll have full ownership of day-to-day site operations. You’ll lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and drive delivery to Grounded’s high standards of safety, quality, and program.

Key responsibilities

- Taking ownership of on-site delivery for a large-scale commercial project, ensuring safety, quality, and program targets are consistently achieved.
- Managing and directing subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team to deliver works to specification and schedule.
- Liaising closely with the Project Manager and senior stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Leading and facilitating site meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Overseeing and signing off on quality inspections,



managing defect rectification, and ensuring a polished final product.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant legislation, building codes, and company policies.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, safety requirements and industry regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and workstreams across a busy construction site.
- Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- The ability to build productive relationships with subcontractors, clients and project stakeholders.
- A solid commitment to safety, quality and successful project delivery.
