Salary: $80,000 to 85,000 per annum plus superannuation
GN Windows & Doors Pty Ltd is a family-run business specialising in quality architectural windows, doors and glazing. We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team based in Carlton, with work at our workshop and installation sites across Sydney.
In this hands-on role, you will measure, prepare, fit and install glass for aluminium window and door systems. You will work from architectural drawings and specifications and ensure each installation meets the required finish, safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading plans, specifications and glazing schedules to determine the type, size and placement of glass required.
- Measuring openings and checking glass dimensions against drawings and site requirements.
- Marking, cutting and preparing glass for installation using appropriate tools and safe handling methods.
- Identifying defects and checking that glass and glazing materials meet project specifications.
- Fitting and installing glass in aluminium windows, doors and other architectural glazed panels.
- Applying glazing seals, gaskets and related materials to achieve secure, weatherproof finishes.
- Installing and replacing glass at residential and commercial sites across Sydney.
- Inspecting completed glazing work for alignment, finish and compliance with specifications.
- Working with the fabrication and installation teams to complete projects safely and on schedule.
Qualification & experience
To be successful, you will have:
Skills required
- A cert III in glazing with two years experience or 3 years of related work experience will substiute or formal qualifications.
- A relevant glazing qualification or substantial experience as a Glazier.
- Practical experience measuring, preparing and installing glass in architectural window and door systems.
- The ability to read drawings, use glazing tools safely and produce accurate, high-quality work.
- A White Card and current driver licence for site-based work.
- A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
