As a senior florist, you'll be involved in all areas of the store. This is a casual position, with hours varying depending on the needs of the business, weddings, events and seasonal periods.
Key responsibilities
- Creating beautiful bouquets, arrangements and custom floral orders
- Conditioning, processing and caring for fresh flowers
- Preparing flowers for weddings, events, corporate and funerals
- Assisting with wedding and event preparation and installations
- Providing confident, friendly customer service in-store and over the phone
- Taking customer orders and helping customers choose the right flowers and gifts
- Completing deliveries in our company van
- Merchandising and maintaining our flower and gift displays
- Working efficiently during busy periods including Mother's Day, Valentines Day, Christmas and wedding season
About you
- Previous experience working as a florist is a must
- Valid driver's licence required
- Reliable, creative, hardworking and proud of the work they produce
- Confident working independently
