Duties & Responsibilities
The Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the full operational running of a Automotive, Trade, Retail, Industrial, Protective & Marine Coatings paint store. The successful applicant will be adaptable, self-motivated, have high ideals of customer service, possess a strong technical knowledge of architectural, automotive, industrial & protective paint systems and want to join a happy, progressive and successful team.
To achieve sales budgets and sales targets in accordance with the Crowies Paints sales budget as provided. Monitor and communicate local competitor activity to Crowies Paints management. Work in collaboration with Crowies Paints strategic supply partners to ensure alignment on new business targets. Experience in the coatings or paint industry, is preferred but not essential. As Crowies Paints continues to engage our existing and target customers with deals, specials and new product information, there is an element of a customer tele-cycle required.
Skills & Experience
A proven history of achieving sales growth whilst controlling operational expenses will be highly regarded. This is a demanding role and we are seeking a high calibre applicant. Paint Industry experience including a knowledge of Architectural, Decorative, Industrial, Protective, Marine and Automotive coatings key applicators, fabricators and refinishers preferred, but not essential. Applicants that have also had Trade/Retail/Hardware industry experience or related building industry experience will be highly considered. High level of written and oral presentation skills. We will offer on going training.
