We are a well-established timber flooring business based in Woombye on the Sunshine Coast, specialising in sanding and polishing timber floors for over 20 years.
We are looking for a Timber Floor Sander & Coater to join our small, friendly team on a long-term basis.
The Position
- 25–38 hours per week most weeks
- Casual employment rates, with the prospect to negotiate a salary package for the right experienced applicant
- Flexible working arrangements and generally shorter working days
- You day would start at 6.30 am and normally home by 2.00pm
- Work alongside a skilled operator and a labourer who assists with the heavy work
- Primarily working on residential timber flooring throughout the Sunshine Coast
- Long-term position for the right person
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in timber floor sanding and coating — or has a strong background in a related trade
- Is physically fit and capable of operating large floor sanding machinery
- Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in producing quality work
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Can work well as part of a small team of 2
- Has a manual driver's licence (preferred)
- Is looking for a stable, long-term position rather than just a short-term job
