The CREW Rockingham is a local not-for-profit organisation that has been serving the Rockingham community since 2015. What began as a small community response to people experiencing hardship has grown into a well-established frontline organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness, housing instability, isolation and disadvantage across our community.
We believe in meeting people where they are, building genuine relationships and providing practical support that helps people take their next step. Our work includes food relief, community connection and outreach, showers and laundry, emergency support and our Safe Night Space, providing overnight crisis accommodation for up to 30 guests each night.
The CREW is more than a service provider. We are a community of people who care deeply about seeing individuals treated with dignity, finding connection and moving towards greater stability and independence.

About the role
The CREW Rockingham is seeking a dedicated Administration skilled to join our team on a part-time basis . This role is based in Rockingham, WA 6168 and offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential administrative support that keeps our operations running smoothly. As an Administration professional, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations, managing communications, and supporting our team members across various administrative functions. This position plays a vital role in maintaining organisational effectiveness and contributing to the overall success of The CREW Rockingham.
Key Responsibilities
Providing high-level administrative and personal assistant support to senior leadership and the wider CREW team
Managing correspondence, emails, phone enquiries and The CREW's social media presence in a qualified, timely and welcoming manner that aligns with our culture
Coordinating meetings, appointments, bookings and calendars across the team,
helping keep our busy frontline operations organised
Preparing, organising and maintaining administrative documentation, financial records and filing systems
Supporting the coordination of team meetings, community activities, events and other CREW initiatives
Maintaining accurate and confidential records and databases, including financial, volunteer, guest and organisational records
Assisting with the day-to-day running of the CREW, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock and ensuring the team has what they need to support our guests and services
Providing a welcoming first point of contact for guests, volunteers, visitors, partner organisations and members of the community
Supporting team leaders and program areas with administrative, bookkeeping and coordination tasks as required
Assisting with the administration and coordination of our growing services, including our Protected Night Space and other frontline community programs
What we're looking for
Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within an office environment
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks
Professional demeanour with excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player
Flexibility and adaptability in a agile office environment
Experience with office management systems or scheduling software is advantageous
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to support team members

SCHADS Award, SACS Level 2, Pay Point 1: $36.22 per hour ordinary rate
Location: 5 Cessnock Way, Rockingham WA
12-month contract, with the possibility of extension subject to continuation of funding
