About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Night Duty Manager to join our management team in a permanent part-time capacity.





This position is designed for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading evening service and is confident taking responsibility for venue operations through to close.

You'll be a visible, hands-on leader across the venue, supporting our teams through busy dinner periods, bar and gaming trade, live entertainment and late-night operations.

As trade transitions through the evening, you'll ensure the venue remains secure, welcoming and professionally managed while coordinating teams, responding to customer and operational matters and overseeing closing procedures.

This role may particularly suit an experienced Duty Manager or hospitality leader who wants to remain in venue management while working a more focused part-time night roster.

Your Night May Include:

- Taking responsibility for venue operations during evening and closing shifts
- Leading and supporting restaurant, bar, gaming and other operational teams
- Coordinating team members and responding to changing operational requirements throughout the night
- Maintaining a visible management presence across the venue
- Supporting supervisors and team members through busy service periods
- Ensuring customers receive friendly, professional and attentive service
- Managing customer feedback, complaints and service recovery
- Monitoring responsible service of alcohol and responsible gambling requirements
- Ensuring venue policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are consistently followed
- Managing incidents and liaising with security where required
- Overseeing cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-night procedures
- Completing venue closing procedures and ensuring the premises are appropriately secured
- Completing management reports and communicating relevant information through clear shift handovers
- Supporting a safe environment for our customers and team throughout late-night trade

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need:





- 12 months previous hospitality management experience
- Confidence leading a venue and team during evening and late-night operations
- Strong customer service and people leadership skills
- A calm and professional approach when dealing with challenging situations
- Sound judgement and the ability to make confident operational decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, approachable and team-focused leadership style
- Reliability and a strong sense of personal accountability
- High standards of professionalism and personal presentation
- Current RSA and RSG certificates
- Approved Manager / relevant Queensland liquor licensing requirements, or willingness and eligibility to obtain
- Availability to work regular evening, closing, weekend and public holiday shifts
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive experiences for customers and team members
