As the standalone People & Culture Manager, you will be solely responsible for leading and implementing all aspects of human resource management within the club. This includes managing recruitment, workforce planning, compliance, employee relations, policies and procedures, performance management, training and development, payroll coordination and fostering a high performance culture across both football and administrative departments.

Key responsibilities

- Act as sole HR contract for the club
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures across the club and in line with legislation
- End to end recruitment
- Manage the club's contracts for all employees, independent contractors and volunteers
- Manage employee relations
- Design & lead performance management reviews and conversations
- Provide professional advice to all management and staff




- Implement and lead workplace training
- Manage onboarding and offboarding process
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant laws

About you

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Ability to contribute to leadership at an executive level
- Sound knowledge of contemporary HR best practice
- Proven ability to provide HR advice on employee and industrial relations matters and the confidence to research issues and obtain advice where necessary
- Experience in recruitment and retention
- Experience in managing grievances and other workplace matters
- Valuable understanding of employee wellbeing practices
