About the role:

UC is seeking for an engaged and enthusiastic Lecturer in Public Health (education focused) to join our Faculty of Health teaching into the Masters program. Working collaboratively with Health Research Institute (HRI) you will incorporate our cutting-edge research expertise into the educational programs and supporting student achievement and academic excellence. This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering engaging learning experiences and promoting public health for a better tomorrow.

Key responsibilities:

- Preparing and delivering high-quality classes
- Coordinating units and contributing to course management and quality assurance activities.
- Designing cutting-edge and authentic assessment tasks that enhance student learning and graduate outcomes.
- Providing academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students.

About you:





You are an inspiring educator committed to student success and advancing community health in preparing the next generation of public health professionals. To be considered for the role you will also have:

- Experience applying professional practice knowledge to teaching and learning environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, coordinate, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate subjects.
- Experience teaching in a health-related discipline within a tertiary education environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Evidence of scholarly activity and the ability to translate contemporary research into engaging and relevant teaching practices.
- A PhD in Epidemiology or Public Health, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience within public health sector (advantageous).
