Due to Continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to our Canberra team to oversee the effective planning, coordination, and delivery from commencement through to completion.

About the role

We are looking for a customer and delivery focused Construction Manager, from preconstruction through to delivery. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders while leading a high-performing project team. You will be focused on developing a successful career alongside a passionate team with a valuable work and life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the project delivery from commencement through to completion;
- Developing and managing strong client relationship;
- Completing project safely, on time and budget with proper site inspections;
- Resource allocation and management;




- Identifying project risks and mitigating them with appropriate measures;
- Developing and maintaining budgets and procurement strategies;
- Ensuring projects comply with building legislation, planning and approval requirements, workplace health and safety obligations and relevant Australian Standards;

What makes you ideal for the job:

- A recognised degree or equivalent qualification relating to a construction management or project management, engineering or architecture;
- Minimum two years of proven experience in a construction project manager role, preferably in residential or commercial buildings;
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting and scheduling;
- A solid understanding of WHS and site compliance requirements;
- Great communication and leadership skills and the ability to build solid working relationships.
